Michigan Mosaic Music Festival: Orrick Ewing

This year has been a very busy one for me as a photographer. With that being said, I don’t get a chance to get out and photograph just for me, so it was nice to go and check out my man Orrick Ewing and his group at this years Michigan Mosaic Music Festival!! I first met Orrick a couple of years ago when I photographed the group Too Smooth for Notes. Since then we have cross paths several times. Last year he contracted me to do a series of promo shots for him, which he still uses! But in all that time I have never heard him live!! I have his CD’s but never live, so it was a real treat to finally hear him play… and wow, can the man play!! And you know me I can’t go to a concert with out my camera.
