Congratulations on your engagement! Words probably cannot describe the joy and happiness that you must feel right now. It is Marvin’s belief that every moment of joy and happiness should be captured through beautiful photographs. You definitely want to remember every happy moment you spend with your partner. From the moment of your engagement to the many years you’ll spend together as a married couple.

This is what Marvin has helped many couples achieve over the years. With over 35 years as a professional photographer, he has been able to help many couples capture this emotional and romantic moment.

Here’s how he does it.

Pre-consultation

It is no news that every couple is different. You and your partner might laugh a lot. You may or may not be comfortable with kissing in public or showing other public display of affection. Your relationship with your partner and how you interact with each other is unique to both of you and only you!

This is why Marvin believes pre-consultation is a very important step toward having a great engagement photo shoot. This is the time when he asks questions like, “How did you meet? What do both of you do for a living? How often do you show public display of affection to your partner?” These questions would help him deduce what location and kinds of poses will best suit your personalities.

Time & Location

Speaking of location, a photograph is only as good as the location where it was taken. It is always great when couples have special places where they want to have their photoshoot. It makes couples feel extremely comfortable, projecting nothing but natural laughter, happiness and joy.

SIf you don’t have a place in mind yet, there is no need to worry, your engagement photographs will be amazing. Marvin is great at picking beautiful places that can only bring out the most romantic and happy emotions in you and your partner.

And speaking of time, your engagement session will take place whenever it is most comfortable for you and your partner. However, one of the best times to have an engagement session is 2 – 3 hours before sunset. Marvin will take advantage of the glorious golden light of our precious sun to capture your intimacy as you both stare into each other’s eyes. It also makes those moments where you smile at a joke you share even more beautiful.
